Welcome to the website of the Egyptian Paediatric Orthopaedic Society (EGPOS). EGPOS was inaugurated in Cairo in the 1st. of April 2010. The constituent meeting was held at The Children’s Hospital of Cairo University in response to an invitation from the preparatory committee which included professor Magdy El-Batouty , professor Yehia Tarraf, and professor Mohammed El-Sobky. Our goals are to promote healthcare and treatment of children with orthopaedic conditions , to get together professionals interested in paediatric orthopaedics on a common platform for facilitating exchange of knowledge and technology ,as well as to advance scientific research and continuous medical education in paediatric orthopaedics.
